PER PERSON

AVIONICS DIRECTOR

Forty-six years of hands on experience installing avionics systems, Per is one of the most knowledgeable specialists in the field. He has a passion for communications and enjoys the creative challenge to push and engineer useful new technologies for early adopters.

MARVIN VANEGAS

INTERIORS CRAFTSMAN

A true craftsman, BAS Interiors M. Vanegas has been making aircraft beautiful for over twenty-six years. Marvin has extensive experience remodeling corporate aircraft: Sikorsky, Gulfstream, and Global, and personally oversees the removal and installation of each project.

ANTONIO TAVERA

AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Tony “safety first” joined BAS after 32 year career as A&P in commercial airline aviation maintenance and an over a decade in corporate aircraft management, including G550 &G650 specialist. Tony has an impeccable safety record, and brings genuine care into each aircraft project.

Career Opportunities

  • Avionics installer with 2+ years-experience to work with team to install, modify and repair aircraft wiring and avionics equipment on corporate aircraft. A&P w Gulfstream or C-20 airframe experience preferred. Neatness counts.

    Assist in on-going maintenance, perform mechanical and electrical removals and installations of aircraft subsystem assemblies according to maintenance manuals and specifications.

    Consistently locate and use appropriate technical data and follow verbal instructions of team lead/GM when accomplishing assigned maintenance tasks.

    Perform bench checks and repairs of electrical components.

    Assist team lead in performing system checks, to troubleshoot and isolate malfunctions/repair squawks in complex aircraft avionics equipment to ensure functionality of system installations.

    Record, and assist in maintaining required logs and records using project management software.

    Competent at interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and use of hand tools, test equipment. (Provide basic personal hand tools for job function which are to be maintained in accordance to calibration requirements in company manual).

    Comply with company quality control and safety regulations. Attend company sponsored professional development seminars, classes related to safety certifications, or current and emerging technologies.

    Ability to obtain airport security clearance, background check. Ability to obtain safety certifications for tug, lift, and vehicle operation. Physical requirements lifting, bending, climbing, heights, and enclosed/tight spaces, safely working with electrical.
